          2nd April 2006
          London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / My first shot of FlyMe at Stansted - after launching flights to Gothenburg last week - and what timing! With a couple of heavy rain cells around the airfield (delaying most departures for up to 45 mins) a number of rainbows appeared, including this one - one of the brightest and most spectacular rainbows I've ever seen.

          2nd April 2006
          London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Approaching runway 23 after a couple of very heavy April showers had soaked the airfield, with the remnants of a rainbow still visible.

Comment / Arriving on one of the new twice weekly AtlasJet services from Istanbul.

          28th March 2006
          London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Another ex. Go aircraft returns home to Stansted, arriving on the daily Norwegian Air Shuttle flight from Oslo. This particular frame is ex. G-IGOU and was delivered to it's new operator only in January earlier this year, but is yet to be allocated a famous Norwegian it seems!
Blue1
    	  British Aerospace Avro RJ85

    	    OH-SAP (cn E2394)
          28th March 2006
          London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / OH-SAP is one of seven Avro RJ-85s serving with Blue1 and has the distinct but sad honour of being the very last Avro RJ/BAe 146 built, and indeed the very last commercial airliner to roll off a British production line. First flying in 2002 as G-CBMH and registered to BAE Systems (Operations), E2394 was initially stored at both Woodford and Filton before joining Blue1 on 26th November 2003.
Air Berlin
    	  Boeing 737-76Q(W)

    	    D-ABBN (cn 30293/1496)
          28th March 2006
          London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / D-ABBN now wears the standard Air Berlin livery, having previously been painted up in the Boeing Dreamliner colours. She was repainted at Norwich earlier this month.

Comment / Good to see the Ansett livery still living on in one way or another!
